NATURAL BEAUTY Ancient redwoods, pristine coastline, lagoons, rivers, waterfronts, and parks, within a 50 mile radius of Eureka.

FILM FRIENDLY We are here to assist with your location needs, and we offer production resources, trained personnel, affordable locations, and flexible permitting options.

GREAT WEATHER Mild winters and coastal summers with average temperatures rarely rising above 70 degrees in summer and 55 degrees in winter, are perfect for filming. Most rainfall occurs between the months of January and April. Our rain and coastal fog are what make the giant redwoods grow and keep this region green longer than elsewhere in California.

UNIQUE ARCHITECTURE Historic to contemporary - Victorian painted ladies to tree houses - log cabins to beach houses. We have a variety in our communities.

LOOKS LIKE Our diverse geography has doubled for Ireland, Scotland, North Carolina, Any Town USA, western ranchlands, and the eastern shore, to name a few. Ewoks and Jurassic and Cretaceous dinosaurs have passed through our primeval forests.

AIRPORT LOCATED MID-COUNTY Eureka/Arcata Airport is a fifteen minute drive north of Eureka, Humboldt County’s largest city. Visit FlyHumboldt.org for more information regarding services.
